Define Overall Location Constraints
- In the Setup Schedule > Development tab, click the Location constraints tab.
- In the Location constraints data grid, click Insert.
- Click the Headings column and select the headings to which you want the constraint to apply.
- Click the Locations column and select the locations to which you want the constraint to apply.
- Click the Materials column and select the material classes to which you want the constraint to apply.
- Click the Unit column and select the unit in which the constraint is measured.
- Click the Value column and type the value for the constraint.
- Click the Date/event column and select the date or event on which the constraint is applied to the location.
- Click the Delay column and type a value for the number of days that must elapse, after the date or event selected, before the constraint is applied to the location.
A new row is added to the data grid.
The constraint value is a daily rate to which the headings and locations are constrained.
Note: Because there is no way to disable a location constraint, if there is a change to a location constraint at a future date, all location constraints must be redefined at that date.
